This unique, light-duty 2-point squeeze dead-bolt latch is intended for use on lightweight compartment or cabinet doors. It incorporates a zinc center case, 5/16" aluminum rods, and stamped steel guide brackets and strike points. The latch is readily activated with a simple two-finger squeeze. This retracts the end bolts from the strikes (whether the ones shown, or a slam-type strike, such as that illustrated). The center case is easily attached by means of a steel mounting bracket using two self-tapping screws. Weight: 3.25 lbs. Can be used with adjoining key-locking cylinder No. 560-61P5.
